Tutorial: How To Conceal Dark Circles With Liquid/Stick/Cream Concealer!

Hey everyone! I'm in the mood for a lot of LOTD's and tutorials. Plus, I NEED to finish so much makeup that I hoard! I am going to do a tutorial on how to cover dark circles using liquid/stick or cream concealer. The reason I chose three different formula's is cause everyone owns at least one type of concealer be it liquid, stick or cream. Hope this tutorial really helps you all cause this is how I conceal! :)

Products Used:

Aroma Magic Under Eye Gel
Garnier Eye Tinted Roll On reviewed HERE.
Lakme Rose Powder reviewed HERE.

1. Moisturize your eye area to prevent tugging or concealer settling into fine lines. Those with oily under eyes like me can use a gel based eye cream. Those with dry under eyes can use an oil based eye cream.

2. Apply three dots on your under eye in a triangular as shown above.

3. Pat with your fingers till its fully blended.

4. Powder your under eyes with loose powder has they hold concealer better than compact!

Products Used:

Aroma Magic Under Eye Gel
Cameleon Pan Stick Concealer
Kryolan Translucent Loose Powder

1. Moisturize
2. Apply on the hollows of your eyes. If your stick concealer is heavier in coverage, apply only half way on the eye. Like an arc.
3. Pat with finger and blend
4. Powder

CONCEALER WITH A CREAM CONCEALER: The most troublesome one! :\

Products Used:

Aroma Magic Under Eye Gel
Dermacolor Camouflage Creme in D3
Faces Wedge Sponges
Kryolan Translucent Loose Powder

1. Moisturize
2. Warm up the product ( VERY IMP specially if its something like Dermacolor ).Apply Cream Concealer only in the darkest hollow. Cream concealers are usually heavier in coverage so don't go over board.
3. Use a damp sponge and blend the product in seamlessly. Use the narrow end of the wedge sponge to reach corners of the eye.
4. Set with powder

1. Yellow toned concealers eliminate purplish dark circles
2. Always moisturize for smooth application
3. Always set with loose powders. It sets concealers better.
4. Concealers with a pink undertone makes the under eye appear very very ashy. Go for yellow or salmon if your dusky.
5. Always warm up the product for easy blending
6. Always apply and blend with the ring ringer. It exerts less pressure. Never apply pressure on dark circles or it will become worse
7. DO NOT apply concealer right below your lower lash line. It WILL crease and cake
8. Always apply concealer AFTER foundation. Some concealers tend to smudge or get removed under foundation
9. NEVER apply too much concealer on your lid as it can smudge your eye makeup.
10. Concealer on the outer corner can emphasize fine lines and wrinkles. Do NOT cake on concealer no matter how dark your dark circles are. Build up gradually. Liquid concealers are very easy to use and most apt for beginners. When you gain confidence, go for stick or cream!

Hope I have helped you all!

Thanks for stopping by! Much Love! <3
